Libby's House/Libby's House East has a soundless call system. Staff wears a pager. This avoids the annoyance and over-stimuli of bells, whistles and buzzers going off at all hours.
To aid residents with vision impairment or time of day confusion, Libby's House/Libby's House East is light-filled with large windows throughout.
Libby's House is designed to assist 22 people and has two suites. Libby's House East is designed to assist up to 26 residents with six suites for couples, same sex persons wishing to share a suite, or individuals who prefer to have more room. Since Libby's House/Libby's House East has small resident numbers and large square footage this means increased personal attention.
For extra pampering, Libby's House/Libby's House East has a full service hair salon and spa tub room.
Residents enjoy home cooked meals three times a day and are offered nutritious snacks and beverages daily.
Resident Rooms
All resident rooms and suites are private. There is a bathroom and shower with pull down chair.
Each room has a refrigerator, cable service and phone jack (phone service not included) and individual climate control.
Residents are encouraged to bring their own belongings to make Libby's House "home sweet home"
Respite Room
Libby's House has a furnished respite room which is available for individuals for a weekend or up to a month stay.

Public entry doors are secured by a touch pad keyless entry system. No one is able to enter or leave without staff awareness.
Libby's House/Libby's House East has a corridor which goes safely around the building for easy navigation and exercise.
Libby's House/ Libby's House East is a one story building, thereby avoiding dangerous stairs/elevators. This also promotes independance with mobility and success with memory.
