As Business Manager he also oversees the company's technological infrastructure, from making sure all records and information are secure, to implementing cutting-edge technologies that streamline business processes.
Libby's House is committed to a compliment of licensed nurses as well as many Resident Assistants who hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license. In addition, Libby's House has more staff per residents than its competitors. Many current residents moved from other assisted living facilities to Libby's House because of the better staff to resident ratio.
Resident Assistants
Our Resident Assistants carry out our mission statement. By combining the mission statement with comprehensive medical skills, our direct care staff is diverse as well as confident in meeting and exceeding each resident need.
As a strong supporter of staff development, Libby's House has monthly in-services on topics that are relevant to the current resident group in our community. We utilize many of the local health care professionals to come to teach about subjects such as lifting techniques, communication issues, specific disease processes, death and dying, and much more.
Our staff participates in a comprehensive orientation process. Mentors (seasoned professionals in Community-Based Residential Facilities resident care) pair with new staff members to assure continuity of care as well as comfort for new staff members (and our residents). Routine meetings, evaluations and question and answer sessions are scheduled throughout this process. Upon completion of training, Libby's House has extremely qualified, professional and caring staff, which can be called upon at any hour to go above and beyond. Just as we strive for residents to meet with success, we strive for that in our resident assistants.
